[A*UG] Physical Meeting!?!?

Jay (author of Adhearsion) recommends Freeswitch as an alternative to  
Asterisk.

Brett, the reason Adhearsion is cool is because you get Rails type  
power out of the framework.
Without going into a lot of details, it's beyond what has even been  
thought about with php or perl
wrt an AGI framework (as noted by the Asterisk and Freeswitch authors  
who have added features
requested by Jay). Also, one of the points Jay makes is that  
Adhearsion makes possible sharable
modules. As you are aware, there is not a whole lot of sharing going  
with Asterisk dial plans.
