[A*UG] Meeting Anyone

Jim and All,

I would like to see this group be active and constructive. The problem the
last time that someone tried to get the group going was that there were at
least a couple of people who wanted to "bad mouth" everything Asterisk. They
were apparently trying to support a competing solution. Nobody wants to be
part of a group like this if it is just going to be infighting.

If the group had some very basic rules, it might correct this problem. There
are many other very good Asterisk groups around the country that it could be
modeled after.

I am putting this out there as food for thought and looking for opinions of
others.
Lets get this group started again in a way that it can be sustained and
people will want to participate and present.
