Jim,PRI calling is much more sophisticated than "hunt groups"
In general, with a PRI you have 23 lines. When a call comes in , it's
presented with the DIALED NUMBER (also referred to as DNIS) so the server
knows what number was called. This way, all lines on the PRI can be used for
any of your DIDs.
Of course, it IS possible that you have a old skool T1 and not running PRI
on it. In which case you WOULD have hunt groups. In that case a given DID
would be reserved for use on a specific set of channels on that T1
