[A*UG] PRI and line sharing

I have not considered this remote phone situation since it didn't
apply to the office, but after seeing my brothers setup, I am now
considering setting up a VPN to the doctors home so they can have an
extension at their home. This phone will be remote, but have a local
IP address. Do the canreinvite things you were discussing above apply
to this case?

An example of reinvite is when we use a SIP proxy server. The proxy server
does the SIP routing to setup the call and then passes it off to the peer to
peer connection. We do not use this in an office situation because it would
usually mean some of the PBX function would no longer work.
